William Britton Obituary

Bill Britton, 68, of Absarokee, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday February 25, 2015 in Columbus, MT. He was born December 17, 1946 to Eugene & Laurine (Madsen) Britton. Bill grew up and attended school in Park City where he also graduated from high school. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force spending time in Vietnam, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, and Spain, earning the rank of Sargent. Upon returning to the states, Bill married April Ronan, the mother of his children and began what would become his life long career as an RV Technician. In the late 70's Bill returned to his home town of Park City to raise his family. In 1991 Bill had the opportunity to move to Florida, which was a lifelong dream. He remained in Florida until retirement, then choosing to come home to Montana and settled in Absarokee. In his spare time Bill enjoyed fishing, working on cars and watching sports. He truly enjoyed a ride on his Harley on a nice day. Bill loved nothing more than a cold Budweiser and a good laugh with friends. He is survived by his wife Mary Ellen; mother Laurine Britton; children Matt Britton and Alicia Britton; brother's Ken , Don and Orville Britton; grandchildren Layne Britton and Matthew Villanueva; and many friends. Bill was preceded in death by his father Eugene Britton, sister Phyllis Whitcanack ,wife and mother of his children April and infant son Jason Britton.
