Weston Lee Mader died on December 3, 2015, from complications of lung cancer. Born April 30, 1946, to William Lee (Bill) and Ila B. Mader, he was raised on ranches in the Biddle area and south of Ekalaka, MT. Wes graduated from Carter County High School in 1964, the National College of Business in Rapid City, SD, in 1967, and Western College of Auctioneering in Billings, MT, in December of 1969. Wes did a variety of jobs and owned several small businesses. He had an auction service when he lived in Sturgis, SD, which entailed selling farm, ranch, business liquidation, and household auctions. He also sold livestock at the Bowman and Belle Fourche Livestock Exchanges. Wes spent several years working ranch and sales jobs throughout Montana, Wyoming and North Dakota. In July of 1985 he moved his family to Billings, MT, where he drove truck for Midwest Motor Express (MME) for 13 years before losing the sight in his left eye which ended his truck driving career. He had logged over 2 million accident-free miles. He also sold vehicles at Auto Acres for a few years. Through the years, he enjoyed bulldogging, announcing rodeos, fishing and camping. Most recently, he custom designed and sold hand-crafted pens. In July of 1972, Wes accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord. He was active in Southern Baptist churches wherever he lived and taught Sunday School for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister who died at birth, his in-laws, and many relatives. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Margo Kay (Fehr), two sons - Wynn Lee (Debbie) of Billings and Keyn Dee (Sarah) of Seattle, WA, two grandchildren - McKenna Marie (Papa's Princess) and Wristen Lee (Skeezicks by Papa Wes), brothers Jay (Karen) of Dumas, TX, and Mel (Kara) of Miles City, sister Tynie (Cody) Shaw of Buffalo, WY, and numerous relatives. Memorial contributions made be made in Wes' name to Lifeway Church of Billings or The Montana Rescue Mission.
