Vera Mae Huston

Vera Huston, 74, longtime resident of Great Falls, died peacefully after a 15 year illness with breast cancer, at her residence in Billings. She was born in Martin, SD to Jack and Helen (Mason) Mowell, and grew-up in Murdo, SD. Vera enjoyed knitting, music, her flowers and her family and fellowship with her Christian community in Great Falls. Vera is survivied by her four children, Chris Swilling of Mississippi, Monta Steward of California, Michael Bondurant of Billings and Valerie Stone of Great Falls; 9 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren;and a brother, Laverne Mowell of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Monte Browning and Robert Huston; and sisters, Ina and Iris. Vera requested no funeral services.
