Obituary

Todd Maxmillian Tetzlaff, 77, formerly of Laurel, died November 6, 2022 at his home in Billings.  He was born July 1, 1945 to ‘Max’ E. and Lorraine (Lang) Tetzlaff in New York.   Todd attended school in Laurel, Montana and was known to be a fun and mischievous kid, spending his summers working on his grandparent’s dry land farm near Molt, Montana.  On October 20, 1964 he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was Honorably Discharged March 25, 1966. Todd attended Eastern Montana College and later worked in the construction industry as a carpenter and wall board hanger and later drove cab in the Seattle, Washington area.  While there, he met a number of athletes’ of the Seattle Mariners baseball team and was able to secure home base seats he shared with close friends.  Todd moved back to Laurel in 2000.  He enjoyed playing pool and was quite good at it!  Todd enjoyed and found meaning in attending Hope Chapel Four Square Church and was mentored by his good friends Max and Vicky Miller who looked after Todd until his passing.  A special and heart felt thank you to the staff at St. John’s Transitional Care for their loving and patient care of Todd.

 

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be 9:00 am Monday June 19, 2023 at Yellowstone National Cemetery in Laurel, Montana.
