Tina Marie DeBuff, of Harlowton, died Wednesday October 20, 2010 in Billings after a long battle with cancer. She was born January 2, 1965 in Colorado Springs, CO, the daughter of Arnie and Dorothy (Hankins) Burnett. Her dads' career was with the military and she attended schools around the world and spent three years in Athens, Greece. Tina graduated from Lynnbrook High School in San Jose, CA. She began dating Randy DeBuff, a childhood friend, in 1984. Tina attended and graduated from Eastern Montana College (MSU-B)while raising her three daughters', driving back and forth to Billings for classes. She later completed her master's degree in Lewistown. Her life was centered around young people and found her vocational home teaching at Harlowton Schools. Tina served as union president of the Harlowton Teaching Union, had a special love of coaching volleyball; serving as the 5C volleyball district president, and advisor for the National Honor Society. Left to cherish Tina's memory is her husband Randy DeBuff; daughters' Stephanie, Shelby and Sierra; parents Dorothy Burnett (Kurt Swallow) and Arnie Burnett (Nettie Holmes); a sister Tammy (Shawn) Schuchard; granddaughter Ella DeBuff and countless friends, students and collegues. A Celebration of Tina's life will be 2:00PM Monday October 25, 2010 at the Harlowton High School Gym.
