Ted Tonn, 63, of Laurel, died peacefully Friday April 22, 2011 at his home following a lengthy illness. Ted was born November 29, 1947 to Thoedore and Edith Tonn in Miles City, Montana where he attended and graduated from Custer County High School. Following graduation Ted served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Locomotive Engineer for the Milwaukie Railroad. On February 20, 1988, Ted married Anita Henry, together making Laurel their home. He enjoyed working on cars,fishing, making jewelry as a silver smith and collected rocks. He loved garage sales! Left to cherish Ted's memory is his wife Anita; children, Gregory Tonn, April James, and Brenda Copley; a sister Terri (George) Chavez;six grandchildren; in-laws Roberta and Robert Henry as well as many, nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Celebration of Ted's life will be held this summer at the Frickle farm near Park City.
