Rosalyn "Roz" Kaufman

Roz lost the battle with cancer Saturday June 28, 2008. She was born in Roundup Sept. 26, 1959 to Ross R. and JoAnne (Kilby) Ray. She graduated from Roundup High School in 1977. In High School she was awarded many swimming medals. Roz also participated in women's softball and a bowling league in which she was a state individual champion. Roz was also an avid cribbage and bingo player. She was married to Jon Kaufman Aug 23, 1978, together they raised two sons. She worked at the cafes in Grass Range and helped at other community functions, most recently working in Lewistown for the State of Montana Highway Department. Rosalyn is preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband; sons Jake and John Ross; her mother JoAnne; brothers, Dan (Jackie) Ray of Billings, Tom of Roundup, and Don (Wendy) of Park City; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Roz was fiercely loyal to her family and friends and will be greatly missed. Memorial Services will be at 10AM Saturday, July 5, at the Fire Hall in Grass Range
