Robert Lee Morrissey Sr. went to join a golf four-some with his Lord on the evening of Tuesday July 14, 2009. Bob was born July 29, 1938 to Edward R. and Esther (Medina) Morrissey in Marfa, TX. He served in the Army Signal Corp and then worked for the United States Forest Service and Bureau of Reclamation, retiring in 1994. To pay for his golf clubs, he went to work at Sutton's Sportswear and Coach America (formerly Express Shuttle). Robert was a member of the Corinthian Masonic Lodge of Laurel, GI Drill Squad of the Albedoo Shrine of Billings, and served as Dad advisor for the Norman C. Johnston Chapter of the Order of DeMolay. Bob is survived by his wife Rita Jane (Tennant) Morrissey; son Robert Lee (Yvonne) Morrissey Jr of Indiana; daughters Rosalind (Robert) Bullis of Park CIty, Roxanne (Terrance) Peterson of Lockwood, and Rhonda (Michael) Miller of Laurel; grandchildren Michael and Hannah Morrissey, Hazel and Benjamin Bullis, Amanda Peterson and Brynnan and Serna Miller; brother Edward Morrissey Jr and step-mother Alice Morrissey. Playing golf with the "cronies" at the Laurel Golf Club was one of his greatest passions. Now Bob will be playing with the big guys in heaven - always par! He valued each and every player. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
