Richard D. Bryant

Richard "Pete" Bryant (Hicks)65, passed away on October 26, 2009 at his home in Roundup. He was born May 20, 1944 at Billings Deaconess Hospital to Frank and Angeline (Sarich) Hicks of Roundup. Pete's father was killed in the Southwest Pacific on April 27, 1945 and he lived with his maternal grandparents, Dan and Mary Sarich until he was 15 years old. He then lived with his mother and step-father, George W. Bryant in Nebraska. He married Rebecca Y. Collier on October 9, 1987. THey moved back to ROundup September 14, 1990 to a ranch in the Bull Mountains, until 2006, when they moved into town. Mr. Bryant is survived by his wife, Rebecca; daughter Lisa Griffin and grandson David John Yonker of Tacoma, WA; sisters Suzanne Boozel of Meridian, ID and Louann Madden of Caldwell, ID; nephew Richard Boozel and niece Angie Bovee also of Caldwell, ID. A private Montana committal service will be held in Roundup.
