Oliver Robert (Bob) Feeback, Jr. decided he was done with this life, finally reuniting with his beloved wife of 62 years, Jenene. Bob was born August 10, 1927, to Oliver and Jeannie (Dalgarno) Feeback in Martinsdale, Montana, the fourth of six children. He left us on May 13, 2017. Bob enlisted in the U.S. Navy in October 1945, serving as a Fireman 2nd Class on the USS Antietam (CV-36) in the western Pacific for 18 months. Dad cherished memories of his time in the Navy, but he soon had a family to support and he worked hard at it. He was a ranch hand, he trapped mink, beaver and muskrat; he worked in logging, drove school buses, drove the Canyon Lines bus route and was a contract mail hauler between Helena and Billings for many years, eventually settling in Billings where he worked as a school custodian until his retirement. Dad had a quick and playful sense of humor, he was always curious and always ready to learn something new. He loved to putter around in his garage, work in the garden, travel and camp in the RV, and he read endlessly. Dad loved Montana and everything about it; his intimate knowledge of this "Big Sky" country seemed infinite. Most of all, he loved his children and was proud of each of them and each of their accomplishments. Dad's work ethic and values are his most prized legacy. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Jenene, his son Andrew, and by his sisters, Mae, Bette and Louella. He leaves behind his four children, Laurinda (Joe) Henderson of Manhattan, Laurine Untrauer of Billings, Oliver (Liz) Feeback, III, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Andrea (Jon) Brouillard of Billings, grandchildren Sean Henderson, Shane Henderson, Todd Untrauer, Michael Feeback, Chris Feeback, Daniel Feeback, Dawn Creach, Jenna Brouillard and Lindsey Brouillard, along with several great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Frank Feeback of Martinsdale and sister Loretta (Bob) Voller of Billings. Cremation has taken place; graveside services with military honors will be held at 11 a.m., June 3, 2017, at Mayn Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs. Arrangements are being handled by Remington Letcher Chapels of Laurel, Montana. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association Montana (alz.org).
