Mildred Ballard Takenaka

Mildred Takenaka, 71, formerly of Miles City, Montana died peacefully Tuesday January 21, 2014 at St. John's Lutheran Home in Billings. She was born to C.F. and Margaret (Price) Ballard in Oakridge, Tennessee. Following graduation from high school, Mildred attended university for business management. She operated and managed motels until marrying and moving to Miles City, Montana where she and her husband Danny lived until Danny's death June 27, 2010. Mildred moved to Billings and lived there until her death. Mildred was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Miles City. Funeral services will be held at 7:00pm Monday January 27, 2014 at Rose Mortuary in Knoxville, Tennessee with burial at Bethel Cemetery in Powell, Tennessee.
