Michael Kenneth Miller was born in Havre, Montana to Kenneth and Peggy (Bickford) Miller on August 30, 1948. Mike sadly left this world on June 24, 2013. One sunny day in May, Mike went for his last ride on his Harley. On the way home he was stung by a bee. This bee sting was a blessing in disguise that began Mike's long yet very short battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Mike married Stephanie Price in 1967 and of this marriage three children were born. The couple later divorced. In 1982, Mike married the love of his life Terri Mitchell, and Mike's family grew to include three more children. He worked for over 30 years for BNSF, starting as a clerk, next a carman, then as a trainman, before retiring as an engineer. He was the UTU union representative for many years and took great pleasure in helping his fellow railroad employees. Mike was a loyal Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bear and Boston Celtic fan, but even a more, a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His passion was the great outdoors, hunting with his beloved labs, fishing with his best friends, and riding his Harley with his beautiful wife Terri. Mike leaves behind his best friend and wife Terri; sons Stuart (Nicole), Matthew (Heather); daughters Tracy, Stacy, Melissa (Josh), Amanda (Justin); 12 grandchildren; sister Verna (John) brother Tim, sister-in-law Cheryl, brother-in-law Dennis (Sharon), Mother-in-law Virginia who thought of him as a son. The list goes on, to include several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special Uncle Wade. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peggy and Ken, baby brother Vernon, Aunts, Uncles, including a very special Uncle and best friend Floyd. Memorial contributions may be made in Mike's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Billings Animal Rescue Kare (B.A.R.K.).
