Matthew Joseph Hutchins

Matthew Joseph Hutchins was born on May 18, 1969 in Miles City, Montana. He was welcomed into the family of Newt and Donna Hutchins of Park CIty on July 19, 1969. Matt grew up with his brother Danny and sisters Debbie and Christi. He attended and graduated from Laurel High School in 1987. At the age of 21, Matt was reunited with his birth mother Connie and gained another family with three younger brothers, grandparents and an extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. He worked at various jobs beginning in his high school where he worked as a custodian. He worked for a car dealership, St. VIncent Health Care Environmental Services, Woods Pow'r Grip and Sweatheart Bakery. Matt's life changed drastically in August 2007 after a brutal attack that left him unable to enjoy life as he had known it. Left to cherish Matt's memory is his mother Donna Hutchin, birth mother Connie (Ken) Bergeron, grandmother Charlotte Wilson; brothers Danny (Susan) Hutchins, CHris (Jamie) Romo, Robert Romo and Neil (Jennifer) Romo; sisters Debbie (Marty) Malone, Christi (Herando) Hernandez and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Newt, grandparents, a infant sister Wanda, cousins Scott Hoffman and Mike Hutchins. Matt enjoyed spending time with is family and friends, camping, hunting, fishing or just eating! He especially enjoyed his outings with his Uncle Jim and Uncle Ralph, and his friend Larry. He had a special relationship with his nephews T.J. and Eric Michael (April). Matt was kind hearted, always willing to help others. Matt's last day was spent helping a friend. He died early Friday morning July 20, 2012 peacefully in his sleep. "Matt, we will miss you dearly and are so thankful that you are no longer in pain". Memorial Services will be held at 11:00am THursday July 26, 2012 at the New Life FOur Square Church in Laurel.
