Lois A. Olsen Obituary

Lois passed away at home in the morning of March 8th with family at her side. Lois was born

May 13,1940 in Bozeman, MT to Harvey and Alice Zine. She attended high school at Great Falls

Catholic High where she graduated in 1958. From Great Falls she moved to Billings where she

met and married Kenneth Olsen. They lived in Billings where Lois retired from First American

Title Company. Lois and Ken moved to Idaho Falls where they lived until he retired, finally

moving home to be close to their family.

Lois and Ken loved traveling the country in their RV, spending most of their winters in Lake

Havasu City, NV. Their travels took them all over the country, but they always came home to

their kids. After Ken passed away in 2009, Lois kept herself busy with her dog Peanut or by

meeting with her banker ladies having lunch or dinner. She loved her monthly dinners and

weekly lunches with the ladies. Lois also loved to go to the newest movies with Kari or go put a

few dollars in the machines with Kelly. Lois also loved spending time with all of her

grandchildren and watching her Great Grandson grow and learn something new every day.

Lois is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, Mother and Father Alice and Harvey Zine,

and brother Richard Zine. Lois leaves behind her daughter’s Kari (Greg) Loterbauer, Kelly (Doug)

Clark, Grandkids Kelsey Fox, Jeni (Scott) McKnight, Jacob Fox and Great Grandson Kane

McKnight as well as her brother David Zine and Sister in Law Margaret Stroebe. As per Lois’s

wishes there will be no services held. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Lois’s name

to Yellowstone Animal Shelter.
