Lea Krueger Obituary

Lea Krueger arrived in Huntley, Montana on November 7, 1919 as the youngest child of Henry and Marguerita Wittman. Lea adored her father and spent many adventures with her brother Jake. Her eldest sister Katie taught her the art of baking and cooking. On October 24, 1939, Lea married Alvin Krueger. Through the years they built lasting friendships with laughter attached. The children that graced this union were Delores, Jean, Ben and Allan Krueger. Lea loved Jesus and ministered to others through her culinary skills in the workplace, at Camp on the Boulder, and Senior Adult Gatherings. Lea's affection for children was evident to all. "Hugs" were always in abundance. Lea was fun, spunky, stubborn, strong spirited, adventurous, and exhibited a spirit of giving. On December 25, 2011, Lea walked peacefully into the arms of Jesus. Lea's legacy lives on in her children Jean (Jim) Erickson and Ben (Luz Marina) Krueger; graddaughters Tammy Rood, Shawnette (Bill) Turnquist, Marily (Don) Craig, Melonie (Mike) Trang, Diana (Wyeth)Windham, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin, daughter Delores and son Allan. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Friday December 30, 2011 at the Family Christian Center in Laurel, Montana. Bountiful blessings to the staff at St. John's Lutheran Home for Lea's care in her latter years.
