Laurie Dell Pierce

Laurie Dell Pierce, 50, of Lewistown MT passed away August 2, 2009 at her home of natural causes.

She was born February 7, 1959 in Lewistown MT, the daughter of Thomas A. and Esther (Westvelt) Pierce. Laurie received her schooling in Lewistown, graduating from Fergus High School in 1977.

She spent her entire life in Lewistown. She worked as a Certified Nurses assistant at Montana Center for the Aged and Valle Vista Manor.

She truly loved her pets, especially her cats. Being in the great out-doors was one of her greatest joys. She enjoyed camping, flower gardening and her many friends. She was a private person who was accepting of people from all walks of life. She had a dry sense of humor and found pleasure in the simple things.

She is survived by her daughter- Bobbie Jo Puckett of Monroe Ohio; Mother - Esther Pierce of Lewistown; One Brother - Patrick Pierce of Lewistown; Three Sisters - Terry Lewis of Winnett; Kathy Ahlgren of Lewistown; Nancy Franklin of Colstrip and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father - Thomas Pierce, in 1978.

A celebration of Laurie's life will be held at the United Methodist Church 1:30 PM Friday, August 7th. Remington Central Montana Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Laurie, we will always miss you and have many found memories of all the good times. You are finally free!!!!
