Larry Morton, 73, of Laurel, passed away April 2, 2021 in the comfort of his
home. Larry was born at home to Earl and Doris Morton July 23, 1947, in
Highmore, South Dakota. He played sports in school and loved football. He holds the
school record for most unassisted tackles. He Larry married the love of his life,
Charlene Dalton on December 29, 1965.
He worked as an Iron Worker for nine years and was injured in 1981. He
then decided to return to school and attended Eastern Montana College. He earned
a degree in business finance and a minor in Native American studies. He loved
hunting, trading guns, cooking, smoking foods, and most of all his grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by both parents, his brother Tim, his son Mitch, his grand
daughter Rachel, and his great granddaughter Elizabeth.
Larry is survived by wife Charlene; daughter Tammy (Rick); son Craig; grandchildren
Danielle (Nicholas), Shane (Kelsie), Casey (Laren), and Jessie; 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 1:00pm Thursday April 8, 2021 at the Rock Church in Laurel, Montana.
