Mr. Kim Kersey Flanery, age 71, of Billings, Montana, passed away peacefully at his home on October 25, 2025. He was born on June 5, 1954, in San Diego, California, the son of Richard and Grace (Kersey) Flanery. Kim loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and was always willing to share his faith.
Kim graduated from Belleville High School in 1972. He had a variety of jobs that lead him to work for eighteen years as a caretaker at First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor. During the 70's and 80's he was very involved with the Youth for Christ teens, and enjoyed working in the background at all the rallies and concerts. Later in life, he pursued his passion for technology, becoming certified as a IT server administration and working at Tetra Tech until his retirement.
On February 18, 2023, Kim married the love of his life, Shawn Tucker. Together they shared a deep and joyful partnership filled with laughter, adventure, and love. Kim especially enjoyed road trips, playing with his grandchildren, watching movies, playing cards, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Shawn Tucker; his sister, Trudee (Frank) Johnson; sister in-laws Jan Flanery & Pam Flanery, numerous nieces and nephews; and his extended family of children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews by marriage, all of whom he cherished deeply.
Kim was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Grace (Kersey) Flanery; and his brothers, Rick Flanery and Sandy Flanery.
