Kevin George Kaiserman

Kevin George Kaiserman, born Aug. 19, 1961, in Lander, Wyo., passed away peacefully on May 25, 2016. Kevin graduated from Laurel High School in 1979. Following graduation he tried different jobs. He attended culinary school in Missoula. After graduation he worked in the food services industry at Billings Clinic until he found his true calling in the ministry. Kevin studied theology at Yellowstone Bible College and worked a a lay minister for several fellowships. He facilitated weekly encouragement and music for the folks' at Laurel Health and Rehabilitation Center, coordinating several gospel bluegrass and traditional music groups, making Monday's a day to look forward too! Kevin also was the key person to establishing the Common Ground meals in Roberts, and Red Lodge. During the summer months Kevin participated in the community lunch programs that Laurel area churches provided to the youth. He also was a valued assistant with the Remington Letcher Funeral Home. His calm and compassionate demeanor was a comfort to all who came in contact with him, he will be deeply missed. Kevin's way of relaxing was along a lake, or river, with a fishing pole in his hands. He also enjoyed making cookies for everyone during the holidays... Kevin will be remembered for a man that practiced and encouraged mercy and grace to those around him; he walked the walk. Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents George and Sarah Ostwald, and his paternal grandparents Jack Kaiserman and Elizabeth Sheldon. Left to cherish Kevin's memory is his parents Jay and Pat Kaiserman; sisters Michaelle (Dave) Kirschner and Patrice (Tom) Schuman; and nephew Aaron Kirchner. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., May 31, 2016 at The Rock Church, 820 W. Ninth Ave., Laurel. Internment will be in Laurel Cemetery. Memorial contributions be made in Kevin's name to the Rock Church, or the charity of your choice.
