Kenneth Bertrum Anderson

Kenneth B. Anderson, died Saturday September 25, 2010 at the Billings Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born April 27, 1924 to Charles and Cynthia (Cooper) Anderson in Billings and attended school at the Basin Creek country school south of Billings. Kenny proudly served his country in the Army Air Corp and was Honorably Discharged in 1945. On January 11, 1947, he married the love of his life, Donna Smith, together they raised four children. Mr. Anderson worked as a Iron Worker and was a member for 59 years, working out of Locals' 708 and 732. In 1985 Kenny retired out of Local 841. He enjoyed his grandchildren and gardening. Kenny had a special fondness for his cats and visiting with the many good friends he had been blessed with over the years. He is survived by his children, Dennis (Sandy) Anderson, Gordon Anderson and daughter Sandy Anderson Ilie; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Kenny in death are his parents, wife Donna, oldest son Larry, five sisters and 4 brothers. A Celebration gathering will be held 2:00PM Saturday October 9, 2010 at the American Legion Post 004 in Billings.
