Kay Frances Kerr

Kay Kerr, 74, of Laurel died July 30, 2008 in Billings. She was born April 3, 1934 to Orville and Anna (Nelson) Dawalt in Carrington, ND. Kay attended school and graduated in 1952 from Carrington High School. Kay later moved to San Diego, CA graduating from Costmetology School in 1959. In 1960, Kay married John Falkavage and together they had three children, they later divorced. Kay married Ray Kerr in Billings in 1971, Ray passed away in 1974. Kay made many friends in the 12 years she worked at the Eagles Lodge in Laurel. She enjoyed camping boating, playing bingo and garage sales. Kay loved working in her yard and will be remembered as a caring and giving person. Holidays for the family were spent at Kay's and she always invited others to join who maybe did not have holiday plans. She also delivered holiday meals to those who were unable to join the at the family home. Kay's door was always open to friends and family alike. Kay was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bud Dawalt; and Ray Kerr. Survivors include her husband Jack Falkavage, her children, Jack (Kristine) Kerr, Kimberely (Mike) Lamphear and Sandy Kerr; 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be 2PM Friday August 15, 2008 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church of Laurel. Memorial contributions may be made to Horizon Hopsice House and Our Saviors Lutheran Church
