Daughter of Greg Sisson and Tonya Stevens
Born July 4th 1993 in Billings Montana
Kara was born with many health struggles, which involved many trips to Washington State to go to the Shriners hospital. Growing up her best friend was her grandma Shirley. They spent hours drawing and crafting. She was adventurous as a child even when she couldn’t run or ride a bike. She took ski lessons in Red Lodge for three winters, and loved it. She volunteered her summers as a teen to the Yellowstone Aids Project, Moss Mansion, Yellowstone Heritage Center and the animal shelter. Kara studied at Central Wyoming College, and became certified to care for elderly disabled adults. She took pride in being able to work when she was healthy enough. Her favorite job was caring for her patients as the lead staff at Residential Support Services. Kara’s main goal in life was to be a mom and to have a big family. She worshipped and adored her three children. Mikey, Mel and Maezy were her pride and joy. Kara has the most selfless heart. She loved everyone she met. You were considered family to her and she would do anything for you. Kara has never met a pet that she didn’t love. She always had a house full of animals. So much love to give. She is finally at peace. She gets to ride a bike for the first time, curl her hair and run. Kara may have left us way too early, but her time on earth has taught everyone she knew to be kind and loving. She will be greatly missed but adoringly remembered by her mom, Mikey, Mel, Maezy, Russ and all her friends. She will forever be our angel and never forgotten. Kara passed away in her sleep June 19th to be with her grandma Shirley and her dad. A Celebration of Kara’s life will be 10:00 am Wednesday June 28, 2023 at Heights Baptist Church 810 Garnet Avenue .
