John Joseph "Joey" Tuss, Sr

Joey was born December 27, 1941 in Great Falls to John and Mary Ann (Vukasin) Tuss Jr. In 1943 the family moved to Winifred. Joey graduated from high school in Winifred. After graduation, he was united in marriage to Cheryll Halverson, they later divorced and he remarried Lynda Badlock. Joey worked hard his entire life and made many, many friends along the way. He enjoyed cards, visiting, and a good beer. Joey lost his courageous battle with cancer on July 24, 2009 in Lewistown.

Joey is survived by his wife Lynda; daughter Leann (Dale) Fisk of Lewistown; sons John J. "Jay" Tuss Jr. of Great Falls, and Shane (Heather) Tuss of Butte; sister JoAnn (Boyd) Bergum of Christina; a brother Howard Tuss of Grass Range; grandchildren Jessica Fisk of Lewistown, David, Kevin and Matthew Tuss of Great Falls; his beloved Shelties, Maggie and Dakota; aunts Betty (Babes) Brennar, Jean Tuss, Frances (Charles) Lozier and Ann (Wes) Bosell. Joey has a long list of nieces, nephews and cousins as well, many of whom held a special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, numerous aunts and uncles and an infant son.

Memorial Services will 11:00AM Thursday July 30, 2009 at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Lewistown. Memorial contributions may be made in Joey's name to St. Leo's Catholic Church of Lewistown.
