John LaFont Obituary

John "Frenchy" LaFont, 75, formerly of Roundup, Montana died October 8, 2009 in Billings at Horizon Hospice House under the care of Riverstone Hospice Services. John LaFont was born to Edmund R. and Margarie (Peck) LaFont in Santa Rosa, CA where he attended schools and graduated from Santa Rosa High School. He married Alvina "Allie" Wyckoff in 1964, having met in Bozeman. "Frenchy" as his friends called him, loved the outdoors and participating in the many area Mountain Man gatherings. Left to cherish his memory is his wife and many, many friends. It was Frenchy's request that there would be no services. Cremation has taken place.
