John Arthur Falkavage

On Tuesday January 19, 2016, John, 85 left to reunite with the love of his life, Kay Kerr. He was born Sept. 4, 1930 in Stevens Point, WI to John and Ann Mae Falkavage. Jack enjoyed camping, fishing, NASCAR races, spending time with his Napa family, especially Jim and Jenny and hanging with the coffee crew in the morning at McDonald's, solving world problems. Jack spent 11 years in the Air Force after he drove truck, for Cenex in Laurel and Valley Livestock in Dixon CA. He was a mechanic for Dixon Unified School District and then picking up and delivering parts for Napa Auto Parts in Laurel. Jack was a member of the Moose Lodge #1120 from 1975 to present. He enjoyed spending time at the Napa store in Laurel where he met a lot of life time friends. Jack may have seemed a little gruff to some people but to us who knew him, he was a softy if he gave you a bad time you knew he liked you. Jack is survived by his children, Jack Kerr, Kim (Mike) Lamphear of Laurel and Sandra Kerr of Mesa AZ. Grandchildren Kassandra Atkins, Chad Lamphear, Jeremy, Chelsea, Bryleigh, Valerie, Kaitlyn Kerr, Christian Jonas, 8 great grandchildren and close friends Kristine Kerr and Gregg Scherting. Memorial Services will be held Friday, January 29, 1:30pm at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 707 West 3rd Street, Laurel.
