JoAnn Arlene (Shelton) Nelsen- Rosenau,  was born August 22, 1936 in Dodson-Phillips County , Montana

the love of her life, John Nelsen, on November 19, 1955.  They were married for over 50

years.  She was preceded in death by John Nelsen.  JoAnn had four children; Steve (Robin)

grandchildren.

JoAnn died peacefully surrounded by her children while singing "I'll Fly Away".  JoAnn

loved her God and her family.  She taught Bible Quiz teams through the Assembly of God

church.  She also taught many tax classes.  JoAnn enjoyed painting, handcrafts, and

puzzles.  She volunteered in the church nursery for Parkhill Assembly of God as she

thoroughly enjoyed small children.  JoAnn also assisted in the nursery at St. Johns

and helped students at the local school with math.  She was the leader for the AARP Tax

Program for many years.

Later in her life, JoAnn married Frank Rosenau from Lemmon, South Dakota and was married

for 8 years.  She lived the remainder of her life in Lemmon until her health required

more care.  She was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
