Jeff McCandless

Jeff McCandless, 63,, died at his home Monday, May 11, 2009 in Laurel. He was born July 26, 1945 to Jeb and Bella McCandless in Cleveland, Ohio. Jeff grew-up and attended school in Cuyahoga Heights, graduating from High School in 1964. Jeff served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1967. He worked in the Railroad Industry for over 40 years, and was with Montana Rail Link since its start-up in 1987. He collected American Flyer Trains and was a Cleveland Indians fan; he loved baseball. Mr. McCandless also enjoyed training dogs and running his own Belgian Shephards in agility competitions. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Jennifer; children, Luke McCandless, Jason McCandless, Amanda (George)Boone, and Jeb McCandless; his mother Bella; and a sister Linda Rini. Jeff was preceded in death by his father. As per Jeff's wishes, no services are planned at this time.
