James "Jim" Adam Schreiner Obituary
James “Jim” Schreiner, 85, formerly of Park City, died Tuesday February 9, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital after an automobile accident. Jim was born just outside of Laurel August 11, 1935 to Adam and Katherine (Knaub) Schreiner Jr. He attended and graduated from Park City Schools where he enjoyed participating in all sports. Jim remained a Park City Panther fan throughout his life, rarely missing a tournament or playoff game. Following graduation from High School, Jim had wanted to be a history teacher and coach. But that was not to be as he was needed to farm and raise sugar beets on the family farm. He married Arlene Luithle and together they made Park City their home until 1977 when they moved to Billings. Jim loved watching sports, having coffee with friends, discussing politics and his family. He attended the Lifeway Baptist Church and was a staunch supporter of the Republican Party. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert, and sister Sally Laird. Left to cherish Jim’s memory is his wife Arlene; children Randy (Carol) and Carla (Dave); a sister Darlene (Larry) Walks; grandchildren, Carl, Abby, Tyler and Rylee; and numerous nephews and a niece. A Graveside committal service will be held at a later date
