James Lee Sudduth was born June 7, 1948 to William and Ella (Vranish) Sudduth. Growing up in Billings, he was an avid car collector and hot rod enthusiast. In March 1968, James joined the United States Navy and proved a very sea worthy sailor aboard the USS Pyre. He worked as an electrician on the many bombs used in the Vietnam War. James was honorably discharged April 1973. He apprenticed in Colorado for the Pipe Fitters Union and spent many years servicing boilers, furnaces' and refineries' around Idaho, Montana and Colorado. In 1999 he moved back to the Billings area and started a woodworking business, which he thoroughly enjoyed. James lost his battle with cancer Sunday January 12, 20144 at Beartooth Manor in Columbus. He is survived by his children, Jason, Miles, Garrett, Brittany, Alexandra, Cody, David and Darah. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
