James Robert Adams

Jim Adams, 84, of Lewistown, died December 25, 2009 at his home surrounded by family. He was born April 15, 1925 to William and Maude (Schoupe) Adams in Molalla, Oregon. He attended school and graduated from Oregon City High School. Jim later graduated from Lewis and Clark College. He worked in the ship yards before serving in the United States Navy, South Pacific during WWII. He married Ruth Neill in September of 1946 and the couple resided in Portland. In 1963 the family moved to Great Falls, Montana where Jim was employed wth Deaconess Hospital. He later became Administrator of St. Joseph's Hospital in Lewistown. He worked in administration for 13 years following his retirement for the hospital in Jordan. Jim enjoyed fishing and loved to read about Civil War history, collecting countless volumes for his personal library. Memorial Services will take place at a later date.
