Jack Howard Evans

Jack Howard Evans, 73, of Lewistown, MT, former resident of Denver, CO passed away March 8, 2009 in Lewistown. Jack was born March 6, 1936 in Denver to Samuel B. and Mildred R. Evans.

He grew-up in North Denver graduating from North Denver High School in 1954. Following graduation, he served in the United States Navy, later returning to Denver. He worked several jobs until beginning his profession at Mountain States Tel & Tel Co; later Mountain Bell and US West Communications. Following his retirement Jack worked another 3 years for ADC Telecommunications. He moved to Germanton, NC for six months before becoming homesick for the Rocky Mountains and Colorado. After visiting a friend in Lewistown, MT several times, he made Lewistown his home.

Left to cherish Jack's memory is his wife Arlene Evans of Lewistown; children Jeffery B. Evans, Tony D. Chamberlain, Scott A. Chamberlain, Terry L Chamberlain and Carrie A Castillo. Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has taken place, a Celebration of Life will be held for Jack sometime in May back in Colorado. The Remington Central Montana Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with local arrangements
