Henry "Hank" Kline, 89, died Sunday April 20, 2008. Hank was born December 12, 1918 to Phillip and Mary (Walker) Kline in Laurel where he attended schools. In 1942 Hank served in the Army, earning the Asiatic Pacific Service Medal before returning to Laurel in 1946. Hank married Rose Marie Rafferty June 11, 1960 at the First Methodist Church. Together they raised two children.. Mr. Kline worked as a carpenter for 49 years and enjoyed many friendships made in the construction industry.
Hank is survived by his wife Rose Marie, daughter Debborah (Steve) Charboneau of Phoenix, AZ; a son Rick of Billings; a brother, Herman (Pam) Kline of Laurel; one sister, Kay Metcalf of Missoula, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings and a great grandchild.
Visitation will be 10AM to 9PM at the Remington Letcher Funeral Chapel, Laurel, Friday April 25, 2008. Funeral Services will be 10:30AM Saturday at the First Congregational Church in Laurel. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Hope Lutheran Fellowship, 101 East Main St. Laurel, MT 59044.
