Grace Heller

Grace Heller, of Judith Gap, died Thursday March 31,2011 at the Valle Vista Manor in Lewistown following a short illness. She was born in Moore, MT July 30, 1932 to Ted and Mae (Best) Wight. At an early age Grace and her siblings went to live with an aunt and uncle in Judith Gap. Grace worked at the Judith Gap School as secretary for many years and enjoyed tending the bar at Bar 100 in Judith Gap visiting with many friends from the area. She also enjoyed needlepoint crafts and growing flowers. Grace's daughter in-law Terry, said Grace was the best mother in-law anyone could have ever had; and the feeling was mutual! Grace will be missed by her family and community alike. A celebration of Grace's life will be held in Judith Gap later in the summer. Grace is survived by her sons Steven, Kevin and Terry (Terry) Vorhes; brothers Doug and Gene Wight; sisters' Joy (Bob) Hudson, Marge (Larry) Clark and Shirley (Duane) Allar; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Preceding Grace is death were her parents, special aunt and uncle Ruth and Frank Jewell and brothers Ted, Harry and George. Memorial Services will be held 10:30 AM June 23, 2011 at the Judith Gap Gym. Perkins Funeral Home of Harlowton is entrusted with arrangements.
