Evelyn Lucille Maxson

Evelyn Maxson, 94, of Laurel. died Sunday April 17, 2011 at St. John's Lutheran Ministries in Billings. She was born to Alfred and Almeda Hermanson December 16, 1916 in Big Timber. Evelyn married Duane Maxson October 14, 1938 in Columbus. She worked at the Graff School Library for 24 years and had many interests, including knitting sweaters and refinishing furniture. Evelyn volunteer at St. John's Lutheran Ministries, shopping for the residents there. Left to cherish her memory is her two sons, Dennis (Carol) Maxson and John Maxson; brother A.C. Hermanson (Jacque) of Polson; three grandchildrren and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Maxson is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 53 years Duane, a sister Genevieve Beck, brother Almer Hermanson and grandson Scott Maxson. A Memorial Service will be planned for a later date.
