Eunice Manly, 80, of Park City, died Sunday June 23, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born September 27, 1932 in Lamar, Colorado to Jack and Alice (Blume) Bowers. She attended schools in Lamar and graduated from South High School in Denver. Eunice worked as a telephone operator for Mountain Bell and retired from AT&T Telephone Company before moving to Park City. Eunice was employed by Park City Senior Center and volunteered at the American Legion Auxiliary. Eunice had a heart of gold and was known for helping others. She had many hobbies, collected dolls and enjoyed painting, always managing to stay busy. She loved music, country and western being a favorite. Family was important to Eunice and was happiest surrounded by those she loved. She enjoyed sporting events her children and grandchildren participated in. Everyone knew she was in the stands rooting for her team. Left to cherish her memory is her children James (Mona), Alan (Debbie) and Jeanette (Jim); grandchildren Chad, Dustin, Shane, Nathan, Daisy, and Josh; her sister Shirley Peck; brothers Eldon Longworth and Gary Longworth; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many cherished friends. A Celebration of Eunice's life will be held at 2:00pm Friday July 12, 2013 at the Park City Civic Center in Park City.
