Earl E. Black, 94, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Oct. 19 th , 2021.Earl was born May 29, 1927, to George Allen Black and Lillian Esther (Graham) Black in Kelso,
Washington. His childhood years were spent in various parts of MT & WY. In 1945 Earl joined the United States Army and was sent to Korea where he worked as a water supply technician. He was discharged in 1947. On August 10 th , 1952, he married Louise Van and shortly after that they moved to Denver CO, where they started a family. Around 1960 they decided to move to Alaska, but the weather only allowed them to go as far as Red Lodge MT. In the spring they moved to Clark WY for what was supposed to be a short time. 14 years later they moved to Belfry MT where they resided until they moved into an assisted living center. During his life Earl worked many jobs including, truck driver, welder, mechanic, bus driver, farmer, rancher, and inventor. He was a devout Christian, loving husband, father, and friend to many.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Louise, parents, 7 siblings and grandson Dustin and great grandson Phoenix. He is survived by his son Randy Black, daughters Joni Burrell & Charlene Krug, 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of life for Earl & Louise next summer.
