Dixie O'Connor, 94, died Saturday June 12, 2021 at the Crossings in Laurel.  She was born June 6, 1927 to Mattie (McKeau) and Errol Koch in Bozeman.  The family lived in Ennis, and Bozeman for years before moving to Billings.  In the mid- 10950's, her family moved to Fromberg, where she met and married James J. O'Connor. .Together they spent many years ranching in the Fromberg area and operated the O'Connor Antique Store. 

Dixie was preceded in death by her parents, sibling twins Lewis Errol and Phillis Devon, Erville. Garneil "Bill", twin sister Betty June and her husband James O'Connor.

Left to cherish Dixie's memory, older sister, Lois Lee of Gresham, Oregon and brother Daniel E.  (Linda) Koch of Park City as well  extended family.

Dixie's family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Crossings and Richardson's Cottage in Laurel for their loving care during the Pandemic and Dixie's hip surgery and recovery.

A Celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 pm June 12, 2022 at the Fromberg Methodist Church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her name.
