Dennis Grunseth, 68, a Veteran of the United States Army, passed away January 31, 2012 at his home after battling lung cancer this past year. We lovingly let him go to a better place where he will be without illness, and will be with his loved ones awaiting him in Heaven. He was an only child of Evelyn and Roy Grunseth, and was born October 28 1943 in Sharon, North Dakota. We will always remember him puttering in his yard, which he was very proud of, and loved working in his shop where he would build up anything his loving wife could dream up. He loved the beauty of spring and enjoyed planning the array of flowers that would bloom throughout the summer. Dennis especially loved being with his granddaughter, Kyann, who he loved to teach gardening, or how to drive the lawnmower! His daughter, Misty, will always remember his contagious laughter that sometimes grew so strong tears began to fall, and she will miss his easy going and good natured personality. He retired from Qwest from Denver, Colorado in 2000, and moved back to his beloved Montana to fulfill the rest of his yeas. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 42 years, Ardis, and his treasured daughter, Misty and the apple of his eye, Kyann his granddaughter, his siter and brother-in-law, Judy and Carl Gates as well as many long time friends. A private memorial service will be held at a later date at the Grunseth Family Cemetery in North Dakota.
