Cheryl Hudson, 59, was called to heaven on Saturday July 30, 2011 in Laurel surrounded by her family. Cheryl was born in Sidney, Montana to Clinton and Gladys (Thorpe) Tibbits February 26, 1952. Following graduation from High School, she attended and graduated from Billings Business College. Cheryl married the love of her life, Gregory Allen Hudson March 11, 1972 in WIlliston, North Dakota. Mrs. Hudson worked as a retail associate, a CNA at nursing homes, along with being a care-giver in Home Healthcare services. Her true passion being a paraprofessional teacher working with special needs children in Molt, Laurel, Custer and finally retiring in June 2011 from White Sulphur Springs Schools. She participated in the Lambert Jaycee's, Locate-Knowlton Homemakers Club, 4 - H, the Molt CHurch Homemakers Club and the Rapelje PTA. Cheryl enjoyed cooking holiday meals and creating crafts to share with friends, family, and the church bazaars. Most of all, she loved being a homemaker for her family, supporting them in all of their activities, and taking "mini-vacations" whenever possible. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Greg; children Wade Clinton Hudson and Wendy Marie Hudson and many dear friends and extended family. She was preceded in death by her son Shawn Gregory Hudson, her mother andfather, along with various aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held 10:00am - 8:00pm Wednesday, August 3 and Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the Remington Letcher Memorial Chapel in Laurel. Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Friday August 5, 2011 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Laurel.The family extends a special thank you to all friends, family, and local organizations that have been a support to Cheryl. Memorial contributions may be made to the Molt Congregational Church or the charity of one's choice.
