Candy Annette Steiner, 53, of Billings, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 from a long battle with cancer, surrounded by the love of her family.
Candy was born on October 11, 1967 in Billings, to Beth Clay and Douglas Steiner.
After many years as an accountant, Candy found her passion in nursing. Helping others was what she loved, and nursing was her perfect fit.
While she did not have any children of her own, she did have several dogs over her life that were her “babies”. Candy gave her love to her many nieces and nephews. They could always go to “Aunt Hairy” for support and advice. She also “adopted” many friends and their families as her own. Her compassion and love were endless.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, great-niece Alessandra, and dogs, Coco, Tika and Daisy.
Candy is survived by her step-parents Jon Clay and Mary Steiner, siblings Tammy (Bob) Hoffman of Billings, Rick Steiner of Billings, Carson (Avril) Steiner of Elma, WA, and Chris (Patty) Steiner of Dickinson, ND, as well as 6 nieces, 1 nephew, 13 great-nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Puffy.
At her request, cremation has taken place.
