Betty Louise Mohr

Betty Louise Mohr went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 28, 2008, at the age of 77, after a battle with cancer.

Betty was born in Waterville, Washington, March 10, 1931. She was baptized October 4, 1931. She was one of nine children of George Jacob and Elizabeth Besel. Her family moved to Laurel MT in 1937. She was confirmed and a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church of Laurel MT. She attended school at Allendale grade school and Billings Senior High.

Betty married John W. Mohr on September 6, 1952 at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Laurel, MT. She was faithful member St. Pauls Lutheran Church up until her death. They lived and farmed in Park City for 56 years. Betty enjoyed to be outside driving tractors and helping with the harvest of the crops. She always had a big vegetable garden and flower beds until this last year of her life. She raised six children and still had time to work in the fields and milk cows.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, Lydia, 3 brothers, Herman, Jack and Jacob.

Betty is survived by her husband John and 6 children and 13 grandchildren, John L Mohr, Linda (Al) Sipes, Alyssa and Addy, Sam (Donna) Mohr, Amanda, Dan and Andy, Tom (Carla) Mohr, Justin, Ryan and Nicole, Ron (Sandra) Mohr, Nicholas, Sydney and Blake, Don (Chrys) Mohr, Jonathan and Serena all of Park City. 2 sisters Clara Kammerzell, Esther Wagner, Two brothers Ruben Besel and Leroy Besel and numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held at the Remington Letcher Chapel from 11am - 9pm on Tuesday.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Park City., Memorials may be given to St. Pauls Lutheran Church Memorial fund or Big Sky Hospice.
