Ardine Kowalski, 88, of Roundup died Febrauray 8, 2010. Ardine was born to John and Mae Donaldson in Klein, MT and attended schools there and Roundup, graduating in 1939. She attended college in Dillon, MT. Ardine was married to Stefan "Stetch" Kowalski on August 22, 1944, together they raised three children. Ardine enjoyed a number of hobbies including knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilting, fishing, hunting,gardening and canning. She was an avid book reader and spent time at the library and continued even after her eye sight was challenged by enjoying the "talking books". Her favorite hobby was yard sales and she earned the title as the Yard Sale Queen! Ardine was a wonderful and caring person who deeply loved her family and friends. Left to cherish Ardine's memory are her children Janie, Steve (Alvearna)and Jon (Karla)Kowalski; granchildren Shelly Jordan, Stephanie (Travis) Grossman, Jame' (Josiah) Bentley, Jancy and Dusti Kowalski; great-grandchildren Elijah Kowalski, Mikkel and Trayton Grossman. Preceding her in death are her parents, sibling Jack; husband Stetch and a grandson Steven Jr. Kowalski; and long time companion Edgar VanDyke. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
