Ann Heckel Obituary

Ann Brano Phillips Heckel celebrated her 100th birthday on June 25, 2007. She passed away on Monday, August 21, 2007 at Parkview Care Center in Billings, MT.

Ann was born on June 25, 1907 in Vineland, CO and came to Laurel in 1929. She married Donald T. Phillips in 1932 in Billings. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, two sons Don Phillips and James Phillips, two brothers Mike Brano and Pete Brano, and two sisters, Dorothy Pullaro and Maire Lehr.

Survivors include one sister Katherine Prothro of Pueblo, CO., nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to sincerely thank Ann's guardian Jean Reed and the caring staff at Parkview Care Center for the compassion, care and loving support that Ann received.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Parkview Care Center, 600 South 27th Street, Billings, Montana 59101

Cremation has taken place and private services will be held at a later date. Ann's ashes will be buried in Holy Cross Cemetery.
