Alice Elaine Deupree

Alice was born April 11th, 1937 to Dan and Irene Groaner in Sundance Wyo. Alice grew up in many places as her family moved from job to job. She did not get to finish high school , going to work with her mother in construction and logging camps as cooks in Idaho, Oregon and Washington as the family moved. Alice met David B. Deupree in Brookings Oregon in 1953 and married in Oct of the same year. They lived in Northern Calif for the next 32 years where their five children were born. They later had a small ranch where Alice started calves and selling them for local people, along with gardening and ranch work.

After Dave retired in 1985 they sold the ranch and moved to Lewistown where they lived with most of their family. Alice ran a day care center for 12 years out of her home.

She is survived by her Husband David, one son David 3rd (Marilyn) Deupreeof Lewistown, Daughter Anna Kramlick of Winnett, Rebecca of Lake Placid Flo, Sally of Fort Myers Flo She is precieded in death by one son Daniel William Deupree, her parents two sisters and two brothers.

Known as Grama Alice to most she and Dave loved the 23 years they have spent in Lewistown near family and friends. Together they have 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren.
