Albert Skorupa, 91, formerly of Bridger, Montana died Monday January 16, 2012 in Billings. He and his twin sister Helen were born October 11, 1920 in Bridger. Albert was the third son of nine born to John and Anna Skorupa. He attended and graduated from Bridger High School. He and his two older brothers learned responsibility early on following the death of their father May 1931 in continueing to work the family farm. Albert continued to farm until 1998 when he moved into town. In 2003, Albert moved to the Tender Nest retirement home where he resided until his passing. Family members remember Albert's favorite dog, Spot, who enjoyed riding in the pickup where ever Albert would go. Albert fed 20 barn cats, along with a few skunks and raccoons as well! Albert is survived by brothers Bill and Charles; sisters Helen, Alice, Mary and Florence; sisters in-law, Myrtle and Alvina Skorupa as well as many neices and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, and two brothers. Cremation has taken place and a family gathering is planned for July 2012.
