Richard Dale Guffey II

Richard Dale Guffey II, 41, of Billings,   went  home to the arms of Jesus January 2, 2020 at Aspen Meadows Rehabilitation Center Billings, MT after a long illness.

Richard  was born June 6, 1978 to Richard and Susan (Langford) Guffey in Billings.

 He attended Elder Grove School and graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1997. He loved football and father/ son hunting trips with his friends and their dads. Rich accepted Jesus when he was 8 years old and no matter what happened in his life he knew he belonged to HIM.  He married Heather Logan in 2001 and they had Richard Dale Guffey III (Trey) March 26, 2004 and Logan Walker Guffey April 24, 2007. The boys loved playing video games and eating Swedish Fish with their Dad. Richard started his own trucking company in 2008. He hauled heavy equipment across the United States until he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Kidney failure and started dialysis in 2014. Because of complication his bones began to break, he fought hard to recover each time but it became overwhelming.   God saw fit to take him home.

Left to cherish Richard’s memory is his mother and father Richard and Susan Guffey, his two boys Trey and Logan Guffey and his 93 year old grandfather Elmer C. Langford and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

 “ Don’t cry for me My pain is gone forever.  My body’s been made whole . Don’t cry for me We’ll soon be back together I am well within my soul”.

A Memorial Gathering will be held summer of 2020.
