Raynold James Manweiler died June 2, 2019 at the age of 71 after being diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus on April of 2019. He died Sunday evening at his home peacefully with his wife Glenda, daughter Sheila and son Shawn at his side. He was born on October 16, 1947 to his parents Carl and Eleanor Manweiler. He lived on the farm in Boyd, Montana. His parents moved to Laurel and he graduated from Laurel Senior High School in 1969. He met Glenda Renee Manweiler on June 8, 1974 and after a short courtship he married her on November 29, 1974. Ray and Glenda were married for 44 wonderful loving years till he died. Out of there marriage came a daughter Sheila in 1976, and a son Shawn in 1977. In 1975 he moved with his wife Glenda living next door to his in-laws for 32 years in a mobile home. Then when his father in law died in 2009 he moved with his wife and daughter to his in-laws old 108 year old home next door. He loved gardening, watching tv,taking naps with the family dog Wicket, taking care of his father in law and mother in law till they died, spending time with his daughter and son and finally a granddaughter in 2009 who brought so much joy to his life. He was an undercoater for Terminal Service for 28 years upon then retiring. He will be greatly missed by his family by his loved ones. He was a good husband, father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Harold Manweiler and his father and mother in law John and Margie Peters. He leaves behind his wife Glenda Renee Manweiler, daughter Sheila Ray Manweiler, son Shawn James Manweiler (Jodi) and a granddaughter Makenna Manweiler and of course his dog Wicket AKA piggy. It was hard to let you go Glenda, Sheila and Shawn ask our father God to take care of him and may Jesus wrap his arms around him with so much love and peace till we all meet again. Cremation has taken place. Services will be 10:00am June 29, 2019 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
