Jeanne passed away peacefully on October 19, 2018, one month short of her 94th birthday.
Jeanne Marie (Worlock) Parker was born on November 19, 1924 in Los Angeles, California. As a child, she moved to Nevada with her parents Walter and Roselyn Worlock. Her father purchased a gold mine in the hills west of Mina and mined until his death in 1944. She graduated from Mineral County High School in Hawthorne and went on to college in Reno, graduating with a teaching certificate from University of Nevada. She married and raised three children, John Bernard Parker (Colorado), Jan Leslie (Mark) McDanolds (Iowa), and Julie Lara Parker (deceased). In 1978 she moved to Red Lodge where she worked at a number of different jobs including the elementary school district library and the city day care. She is survived by her two oldest children and two grandsons, Brad (Texas) and Morgan (California).
Her family would like to thank all of those who took such good care of her at Tender Nest in both Red Lodge and Laurel. No words can express our gratitude for the love and kindness shown her.
